The Challenge
We turned co-op from a feature into a first impression.
Storm Lancers was entering a crowded market where simply announcing a new title was not enough to earn attention. Co-op play was a key part of the game’s appeal, but that alone was not a differentiator. Plenty of games promise shared play. The harder challenge is making that promise feel meaningful and believable. The influencer kit needed to do more than generate a fun unboxing moment. It had to reinforce the idea that this was a game meant to be enjoyed with someone else and give creators a natural way to show that from the start.

We built the experience around the act of sharing.
Inspired by Saturday morning cereal nostalgia and anime-style energy, the lunch box kit opened to matching pairs throughout: fruity mini cereal boxes, coupon-style game codes, color-changing spoons, key charms, lenticular action cards, and shirts. Everything was designed with a second person in mind. Instead of treating co-op as a bullet point on the back of the box, we turned it into the structure of the experience itself. The result was a kit that made the game’s social promise physical, visual, and easy to play out on camera.

The final kit turned a standard influencer send into a more participatory launch moment.
By making the experience inherently shareable, it helped creators communicate the spirit of the game in a way that felt immediate and believable. Rather than just telling people Storm Lancers was more fun together, the kit gave them a way to show it.
