The Challenge
PACCAR is a company that prides itself on quality, innovation, and technology. When you’re responsible for manufacturing the trucks and engines that move freight around the world, you must be on the cutting edge.
Their Information Technology Division (ITD) and agency partner ImagiCorps partnered with Ten Gun’s experience experts to address a fascinating challenge; They needed to communicate to a B2B audience that PACCAR are data and analytics innovators par excellence in just a few short minutes—utilizing a physical showroom as center stage.
The Insights
Ten Gun began our exploration by combing through a century’s worth of PACCAR’s acquired company knowledge, especially around customer-centric innovations.
From this information, stories began to emerge: diverse and interconnected, and perfect for honoring their technological advancements.
We conducted strategy sessions with ITD stakeholders, constructing a narrative around how PACCAR’s use of data and analytics saves time and money, defining how to deliver this narrative most effectively to their audience.
Ten Gun created five unique experiences for PACCAR’s ITD headquarters in Renton, Washington.
We built the native applications, content strategy, user interface, and projection mapping. We also included voice activation and lighting control mechanisms. The result allowed customers to quickly understand the ways in which PACCAR’s data and analytics integrations save money and downtime with preventative maintenance, location tracking, and more.
The experience center was a smashing success!
Not only did PACCAR ask us to return and create additional stories in that space, visitors were delighted with the interactive experiences that elevated PACCAR’s position as a major technology innovator. It provides the perfect in-person introduction to the brand as a long-haul contributor to cutting-edge trucking.
